What we do

TINGIDIS is a narrowly specialised engineering company. Our field is any task where groundwater creates a problem or serves as a resource: dewatering and drainage, seepage cut-off and reactive barriers, dewatering of open pits and underground mines, tailings storage facilities and waste impoundments, flood protection of territories, industrial water supply.

For every large project in complex hydrogeological conditions we build a groundwater flow model. It shows how water will behave before the work starts and allows the solution to be chosen by its effect and cost, comparing CAPEX and OPEX for each option.

Our principles

• Every decision rests on a calculation. Analytical seepage calculations or a numerical model - always one of the two, usually both.
• A model without reliable calibration is a doubtful basis for engineering decisions. We first reproduce the existing regime, then run the forecast.
• Russian codes and standards. We work to the current SP, GOST and SanPiN and take the documentation through state expert review.
• Expert review comments are closed in advance. Focus on one discipline lets us remove the typical questions while the design is still being developed.
